OUTPOST

Outpost Venice was a contemporary art event located in multiple sites around the city of Venice for the duration of the art Biennale. The event constituted as a collectible exhibition which comprised of over 100,000 artworks with separate corresponding signature cards by 1,000 international participates. The viewer collected their own set of artworks, assembled in the own blank catalogue, taking on the role of curator. They compiled their own exhibition by collecting anonymous artworks and if enticed, their corresponding signatures. Outpost explored notions of authenticity, authorship and value, empowering the viewer to become the collector, critic and viewer.
