A MATCH STRUCK TWICE
A Match Struck Twice is a collaborative project that brought together composer Damian Barbeler, curator and artist Tim Jetis, and a group of year 9 English students from Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College. Rooted in a profound sense of purpose, the project revolved around the investigation and articulation of concepts related to justice and protest. This journey culminated in a dynamic live performance that featured a collective of 200 student musicians, poignant poems, expressive spoken words, and an array of captivating artworks. This collaborative endeavour was met with enthusiastic acclaim from the school community, marking a celebration of artistic synergy and shared creativity.
